God’s Call Upon Aglow
Here is an excerpt from a message Jane Hansen Hoyt brought to the Aglow International New Day conference in Dallas, November 2024. You are encouraged to read or view the entire message as it brings clarity to the journey and relevancy of God’s call upon Aglow International along with the way God has mightily used Aglow through the decades. God’s Call Upon Aglow Has Never Diminished
Every time that we are together, it brings that deep and incredible awareness of the call of God extended to women back in the 60’s when there was such a beautiful move of the Spirit. So many came into the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. It was an awakening that took place in women, and I do not mean to limit it to woman; however that is my initial starting point for today - this ministry that was birthed at that time. God has taken that and gone around the world with it, touching women in such an incredible way, reaching into families, into marriages, bringing life to us in a way that we so appreciate. Running parallel to all that was taking place in the world, there was a ministry called – at that point – Women’s Aglow. There was a ministry that He birthed that would ultimately become a powerful prayer movement in the earth that would be birthing what He intended to do in these decades and as we move toward the ultimate length of time. So many of us feel that we could well be in the last days. Our call remains strong. The call remains clear. The call includes you. Together, Aglow will move forward into its future, into its new day, and He will make clear each step we are to take.
Lord, we treasure Your work in our hearts, our lives, our groups, and our nations. We lean into You to continue to dig deeper and deeper into the greatness of all You have to speak to us. Sharpen our focus. Sharpen our ears and bring clarity to the path You have set before us.
- Lord, thank You for the mighty work of Holy Spirit that birthed the movement of Aglow International throughout the world.
- Thank You, Lord, for the call that You have placed upon our lives and the way Your Spirit flows through us to empower us in the work of Your ministry.
- Lord, thank You for Jane Hansen Hoyt. Thank You for the way she had drawn us all into a higher realm of walking by Your Spirit. Thank You for the beautiful and powerful way she had followed Your Voice as she led Aglow Int’l through decades of expansion. Bless her now with every good and perfect gift as she continues to pursue Your calling. Enlarge the revelation of Your Spirit within her. Take her to the depths of Your Presence she yearns. Bless her with miracles of Your Grace.

Prophetic Declarations
From the moment they are spoken, prophetic words belong to us and must become as real in our hearts as they are in the heart of God. As the prophetic word is spoken, see God standing in the future, speaking back to you in the present. He is telling you who you are becoming. Be encouraged!

And so I call you to an elevated place to take your place. Those ways that you have seen Me move in previous days, even through you by My hand that is upon you, even the ways that you operate shall shift, and they shall change. You will be as those they spoke of in Samuel's day, that they were changed into another man, another woman, even in a day. You will see things that you have prayed, even written in your journals, play out quickly over a series of days, one event upon the heels of another. It will seem that all that you have prayed will play out so quickly. You will say, ‘We must go back into the place of prayer and we must visit it again for all He gave to us has so quickly come to pass. Did I not say that My Word was like a hammer? And I use you, My hammer, to break open from the past into the new. And so you must arise, it is true: with this new ability in your hand to speak to operations of my Spirit and see them move forward all across the land.

- Fill us with Your Word as a hammer to break up hard places and release the fresh fire of Your Spirit. “Is not My word like a fire?” says the Lord, “And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?” (Jeremiah 23:29)
Surrounding the Israel in Prayer
(These is adapted from a prayer alert received from Betty Intrater of Tikkun)
The ceasefire in Gaza has ended, and after several weeks of failed negotiations, Israel has returned to military offensive to put pressure on Hamas to release the hostages. Israel has declared all further negotiations will continue 'under fire' and won't end until all the hostages have returned. There are currently approximately 24 hostages thought to be alive in Gaza. The tension within Israel is intense, the country divided. Some in Israel oppose this military action and want to offer more concessions to release the hostages, including allowing Hamas to regain power. The country is torn. It's built into their values not to leave a comrade behind. However, in this case it is not clear how to rescue the hostages. Conceding to Hamas could lead to a huge increase in Jihadism and terrorism in the Middle East and the whole world.
- Please pray for God's wisdom for Netanyahu and the coalition leaders to know how to proceed and to make correct strategic decisions.
- Pray for release of the hostages and healing of the nation of Israel.
- Pray for the destruction of Jihadists.
- Pray for the strength of Arab Christians and continued unity among believers in Israel.
- Pray for a new period of peace in the Middle East.
- Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces.” For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, “Peace be within you.” (Psalm 122:6-8)
- Pray protection for our soldiers on all fronts. 'No weapon fashioned against you will prosper.' Also, against military accidents and 'friendly fire.'
- Pray for healing for our country, physically and emotionally. There are many wounded. All have been traumatized. Pray that this trauma will not lead to bitterness and depression, but rather to hope and salvation, to the Father of mercies, God of all comfort.
Summon the Nations!
Aglow International is called to take the Light of Jesus, bring hope and build the Kingdom in all communities, cities and nations.
- Look! You will summon nations you’ve never heard of. Nations who have never heard of you will come running to follow you because Yahweh, your God, the Holy One of Israel, has glorified you. – Isaiah 55:5 TPT
- All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before You. Psalm 22:27
- Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. Psalm 33:8
- All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O Lord, and shall glorify Your Name. Psalm 86:9
Aglow in the Gates of Nations
We are praying for Aglow to be affiliated in every nation of the world. We are very close to reaching that goal. Let’s continue to move forward together, a company of champions and global leaders of significance, to see Every nation touched, every heart changed.
- Declare Awakening throughout these nations of the earth!
- Lord, empower Aglow people in these nations to hasten Your Great Awakening.
- Pray for passion to fulfill Jesus’ apostolic commission to establish the Kingdom of God in each nation.
- Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. – Matthew 28:19-20
- We decree that the Great Commissions of Christ WILL be fulfilled!
- Pray there is an opening for Aglow International to cultivate a presence in every nation that creates an atmosphere of celebration, impartation and restoration.
- Pray for Christians in every nation to grow in courage and an overcoming spirit.
- Pray also for these nations of Africa where Aglow has a presence. Pray for a greater influence for the Kingdom of Heaven. Pray for new leaders to arise. Pray for younger generations as they respond to the call of leadership in Aglow:

A Note and A Prayer
Recently, I was in a prayer meeting with a group of Aglow intercessors. They are a special group who meet every day for prayer, though this was the first time I was with them. During this prayer time, a gentleman was stirred by Holy Spirit to deliver a powerful prophetic word. Here is just a part of that word:
The Lord said, “I am about to blow with My Spirit again! I am taking another breath, and My Spirit is about to press forward. It’s going to become like a mighty wind against a ship. Keep your sails upward and understand this – as the wind blows forth of My Spirit, no one controls it! . . . It is going to blow against the ship of Aglow! It’s going to go forward at a massive rate of speed. It is going to be the most powerful breath that I have ever breathed on this organization. It is going to bring supernatural salvation. Redemption is going to come to millions of men and women across the world There is coming a wind of My Spirit that is going to explode!
Lord, thank You for the wind of Your Spirit blowing in a new and powerful way across Aglow Int’l. We lift up our sails in expectancy to receive the fullness of a fresh move of Your Spirit. I pray for every Aglow leader, every intercessor, everyone who has been touched by Your Spirit through Aglow – come blow Your wind upon us! Release Your strength into our weakness. Pour Your healing into our infirmities. Spark unquenchable joy in our places of discouragement and distress. Lord, our hearts are set on You. Revive us by the power of Your Breath as we run into a new era of Revival, Harvest, and Awakening! Amen!
